I think the way you have your users setup is a really cost-effective solution. There is a bit of a learning curve from going to Nitro when swapping from Acrobat (not really a con just a note). You must instead "Insert page x from A" into PDF B. So you cannot drag 1 page from PDF A - onto PDF B order. Cannot display multiple PDFs at the same time, uses tabs rather than side by side comparison like Acrobat. No Ruler function! Only grid lines that can be changed to mm, cm, inch. Support and community forums seem lively and well so far. Whiteout, PDF Convert to Word, Excel, ETC. OCR is actually i feel pretty accurate and using it is a quick process. The ribbon bar is great, and all the available tools are readily available from tabs.
So while we have about 80% on Nitro, 19% on Acrobat Standard, and 1% who are stubborn and refuse to let go of Acrobat Pro. However, some still prefer Acrobat Standard over Nitro for a few reasons (i'll list them later). We quickly found that users that needed some of the Acrobat Pro functions only used about 1/8th of the actual features from Acrobat, and thus saw an opportunity to swap them to Nitro Pro (Whiteout function anyone?).
Here it really depends on the functions and features that you use the most, as well as the features you need.
